We pick you up from your hotel and drive over Mustafapaşa. Mustafapaşa was an old greek town used to be called as Sinasssos before the population exchance in 1924 between Turkey and Greece. At Mustafapaşa we see one of the best examples of Greek style reliefs and stone houses. After Mustafapaşa we go to Keşlik Monastery which is like a paradise as location in a valley with beautiful gardens.We see a church which has one of the oldest frescoe decoration in Cappadocia. Then we go to Şahinefendi village. The name of the village in the time of Romans was Sobessos. It has an old Roman city ruins which is an ongoing excavation area. On the way to Soğanlı Valley we have couple of breaks at the high points of Şahinefendi plateau. At the entrance of Soğanlı Valley a lot of interesting and different pigeon houses with multi level in monolits can be seen.
We have Lunc in a beautiful garden resataurant. All the foods are organic, cooked by local ladies and served in a family atmosphere. After lunch hiking about 1 km in and over high panoramic path of the valley, see the domed church uniqe and is a symbol church of Soğanlı valley. The Frescoes are duble plaster from 11th and 14th Century AD. Final point is Mazı village. It is a very original and traditional litttle village in a valley on our way. There are a lot of well preserved and original rock-cut tombs. Also we see Mazı Underground city which is an intersting example of Cappadocia underground cities with 5 levels. There is a vertical escaping tunnel reaches up to rock tombs. Also there is a 30 mt. well in the church. After we see Mazı village and underground city we take you back to hotel 4 pm.
